Low Cost
Discover incredible destinations without breaking the bank. In this section, we show you low-cost places for getaways, adventures, and relaxation that suit all budgets. Because the best experiences don't always come with a high price tag.
Penitentes
A classic destination in the Mendoza mountains, with breathtaking landscapes and rock formations that look like natural sculptures. Ideal for a quick stop, playing in the snow in winter, or taking photos among the hills. It is only 20 minutes from Puente del Inca and can be combined with other high mountain spots. The best time to visit is between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the sun shines directly on it. Bring a coat, comfortable shoes, and something to eat, especially out of season.
Manzano Historico
A place steeped in history and nature, at the foot of the mountains. Ideal for a full-day getaway: you can visit the monument to the Liberator, walk along the trails that border the river, or have lunch at one of the local barbecue restaurants. There is plenty of shade, public restrooms, and local artisans on weekends. We recommend bringing something warm, insect repellent, and a blanket if you want to have a picnic. In summer, taking a dip in the river is part of the plan.

Rio Blanco - Potrerillos
Arriving in Río Blanco, in Potrerillos, was like finding a hidden corner among the mountains. The sound of running water and the fresh mountain air instantly disconnect you from everything else. Walking along the riverbank for a while, among rocks and wild vegetation, I found a different landscape at every bend in the river. It's the perfect place to take a deep breath, pause for a moment, and feel the immensity of the calm mountain range. If you're looking for nature without the crowds, this is the place for you.
